We all have childhood memories. The difference with mine is that many of them involve the people I love in spaces that have stayed with me all these years later. I have always had a passion for beautiful design and an appreciation for the art of creating amazing spaces.
Being professional comes first, but I love to have fun at the same time.
Before there was HGTV or TLC’s “Trading Spaces”, there was a kid in high school toiling away at an independent study in interior design. That kid, of course, was me.
Born in Saint John, New Brunswick, I was surrounded by rich history and beautiful architecture. I would walk the streets looking up at the 18th century details in the buildings and when inside I would take in every detail of designs past and present.
Although design always captivated me, I had another passion that called me. I pursued a career in teaching and loved every minute of it. But after having children of my own, I left the profession and decided to pursue my dream of doing interior design..
My family and I moved to Halifax , Nova Scotia where I completed my diploma of Interior Design from the Interior Design Institute and started my own business designing loved spaces.
I feel grateful every day that I am able to fulfill my passion of interior design and bring amazing spaces to life for incredible people.
